About these terms
These terms apply to purchases from Magnetic Screens Company UK at magneticflyscreen.co.uk. Magnetic Screens Company UK is a division of Caruso Consulting Co Ltd (the seller). "Customer" means the person or organisation placing an order, and "goods" means the products ordered.
Orders and payment
Prices, delivery charges and product options are shown before payment. An order is accepted when we send confirmation that it has been accepted. If payment is declined, the order will not be processed. We may reject or cancel an order where a product is unavailable, details are incorrect, fraud is suspected or a legal restriction applies; any payment taken for a cancelled order will be refunded. Payments are taken by card through Stripe or by PayPal, and are handled for us by Buy Factory Direct, which is the name you will see on the payment page and your statement.
Product information and measurements
Please check the product description, dimensions, materials, suitability information and installation instructions before ordering. Colours and appearance may vary slightly by screen or batch. Customers ordering made-to-measure goods are responsible for supplying accurate measurements and selections. Nothing on this site promises professional installation unless a product or service description expressly says so.
Delivery, taxes and risk
Delivery estimates and charges are set out in our Shipping & Delivery policy and at checkout. Delays outside our reasonable control may occur. Import VAT, customs duties or local taxes may apply and are the customer's responsibility unless stated otherwise. We declare shipments accurately and comply with applicable customs requirements. Legal responsibility for goods during delivery and after receipt is governed by applicable consumer law; these terms do not remove those protections.
Cancellations, returns and refunds
Your cancellation and return rights depend on the product, including whether it was made to your specifications, and on the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Follow our Refunds & Returns policy and contact theteam@magneticflyscreen.co.uk before returning goods. Nothing in these terms limits statutory rights for goods that are faulty, not as described or otherwise do not conform to the contract.
Safe use
Read and follow the instructions supplied with the product. Keep packaging, loose components and installation tools away from children and pets. Inspect the screen and fittings before use and stop using a damaged product. These products are insect screens; they are not security barriers, fall-prevention devices or substitutes for child, pet or pool-safety controls.
Liability
We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or mandatory consumer rights. Subject to those protections, neither party is responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed. Business customers may have different rights from consumers. Complaints and disputes
Contact theteam@magneticflyscreen.co.uk with your order number and a clear description of the issue so we can investigate. We will consider each complaint on its facts. If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, UK consumers may use any applicable consumer alternative dispute resolution service or bring a claim in a court with jurisdiction. These terms do not prevent a consumer from using any mandatory remedy or court available under applicable law. See our complaints handling policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law applicable to the contract. A choice of law does not deprive a consumer of mandatory protections in the country where they live.
Changes
We may update these terms for future orders. The terms in force when an accepted order was placed continue to govern that order, unless the parties agree otherwise or the law requires a change.
