"content": "Shipping & Delivery Last updated 21 October 2026. This policy is reviewed periodically; if anything here is unclear, ask us before you order. Where we deliver We deliver across the United Kingdom, including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield, Edinburgh, Bristol, Leicester, Coventry, Cardiff, Belfast, Nottingham and Newcastle upon Tyne. We also deliver to Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man. Remote and island addresses may take a little longer. Jersey and Guernsey are outside the UK VAT area, so local import charges may apply when a parcel arrives there. We do not deliver anywhere else. Our other country stores are listed at magneticscreens.company . What delivery costs Standard delivery is free on orders of £60 or more. Under that, standard delivery is £22 per order, however many items you order. Where you use a discount code, the £60 line is measured against the order value after the discount. The charge is shown in your cart before you pay. Express delivery is £22 at any order value. You choose it in the cart. Free delivery applies to the standard service, so an order over £60 pays nothing for standard delivery and £22 if you choose express. How long it takes We dispatch within 2 working days. Delivery then takes up to 7 working days by tracked courier. Express orders are dispatched within 1 working day and delivered in 3 to 5 working days. Working days leave out weekends and public holidays. Customs and import charges Some orders are sent directly from our facility in Thailand by DHL Express. When that happens, import VAT, customs duty or a clearance fee may be charged when the parcel arrives in the UK. These charges are not part of the price or the delivery cost you pay us, and we do not set them. They are paid by the person receiving the parcel, usually to DHL before delivery. We declare every shipment accurately, and we show this note in your cart before you pay. If DHL contacts you about a charge and you are not sure it is genuine, email us at theteam@magneticflyscreen.co.uk and we will check it with you. Tracking Every order is sent tracked. You will get an email with a tracking number once your order has shipped. We do not receive a tracking code before the parcel is collected, so there is nothing to send you before then. Once you have your tracking number you can follow the parcel on our track your parcel page. Separate parcels For practical reasons, items in the same order may be sent in more than one parcel and may arrive on different days. If part of an order has arrived and you are unsure about the rest, email us and we will check it for you. Questions before you order If you need an order by a particular date, email us at theteam@magneticflyscreen.co.uk before you buy and we will tell you honestly whether it is achievable.",

"content": "Refunds & Returns Last updated 21 October 2026. This policy is reviewed periodically; if anything here is unclear, ask us before you order. Your right to cancel Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you can cancel an online order within 14 days of the day it is delivered, for any reason, and you do not have to tell us why. Tell us within those 14 days, then send the goods back within 14 days of telling us. We refund what you paid for the goods and the standard delivery charge, within 14 days of getting the goods back or of you showing us proof that you have sent them. If you chose express delivery, we refund the standard rate rather than the express one. Our 15 days on top Our own policy gives you a little longer: 15 days from the day your order is delivered to return a stock item for a refund or an exchange. The item needs to be unused, in its original packaging, and sent with your order confirmation or another proof of purchase from this website. This sits alongside your legal right to cancel and does not replace it. For a change of mind, you pay the cost of sending the item back to the warehouse it came from. There is no handling fee and no cancellation fee. We can reduce a refund if an item has been handled more than you would need to handle it in a shop, so unrolling a screen to check the size is fine, and cutting the frame or the mesh is not. Custom sized screens Screens we make to your own measurements through a custom quote are made to your specification, so they cannot be returned for a change of mind. They are still covered in full if they are faulty, damaged or not what you ordered. Faulty, damaged or incorrect items Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 your goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If something arrives faulty, damaged, with parts missing, or is not what you ordered, email us straight away and we will put it right. You have a short-term right to reject faulty goods for a full refund within 30 days of delivery. After that we will repair or replace the item, and if that does not fix it you can ask for a price reduction or a refund. We pay the return postage on anything faulty, damaged or incorrect. Order not received If your order has not arrived within the delivery time on our Shipping page, email us with your order number and we will chase it with the courier and sort it out. Cancelling before dispatch You can cancel any order before it is dispatched, at no charge. Most orders leave within 2 working days, so email us as soon as you can and we will tell you where it has got to. How to start a return Email theteam@magneticflyscreen.co.uk with your order number and tell us whether you are cancelling, exchanging or reporting a fault. We reply with the return address and the next step. Please do not send anything back before you hear from us, so your parcel does not go astray. We cannot accept returns of items bought from other retailers. Refunds We process a refund within 24 to 48 hours of receiving the returned item, and always within 14 days. It goes back to the card or PayPal account you paid with, or we can hold it as credit for a future order if you ask. Your bank or card issuer decides how quickly it shows on your statement, which is usually a few working days. If we cannot agree Please contact us first, because most things are quicker to sort out directly. See our complaints handling policy . If we still cannot resolve it, the Citizens Advice consumer service can advise you and can refer the matter to Trading Standards. Nothing on this page affects your statutory rights.",

"content": "Terms & Conditions Last updated 21 October 2026. This policy is reviewed periodically; if anything here is unclear, ask us before you order. About these terms These terms apply to purchases from Magnetic Screens Company UK at magneticflyscreen.co.uk. Magnetic Screens Company UK is a division of Caruso Consulting Co Ltd (the seller). \"Customer\" means the person or organisation placing an order, and \"goods\" means the products ordered. Orders and payment Prices, delivery charges and product options are shown before payment. An order is accepted when we send confirmation that it has been accepted. If payment is declined, the order will not be processed. We may reject or cancel an order where a product is unavailable, details are incorrect, fraud is suspected or a legal restriction applies; any payment taken for a cancelled order will be refunded. Payments are taken by card through Stripe or by PayPal, and are handled for us by Buy Factory Direct, which is the name you will see on the payment page and your statement. Product information and measurements Please check the product description, dimensions, materials, suitability information and installation instructions before ordering. Colours and appearance may vary slightly by screen or batch. Customers ordering made-to-measure goods are responsible for supplying accurate measurements and selections. Nothing on this site promises professional installation unless a product or service description expressly says so. Delivery, taxes and risk Delivery estimates and charges are set out in our Shipping & Delivery policy and at checkout. Delays outside our reasonable control may occur. Import VAT, customs duties or local taxes may apply and are the customer's responsibility unless stated otherwise. We declare shipments accurately and comply with applicable customs requirements. Legal responsibility for goods during delivery and after receipt is governed by applicable consumer law; these terms do not remove those protections. Cancellations, returns and refunds Your cancellation and return rights depend on the product, including whether it was made to your specifications, and on the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Follow our Refunds & Returns policy and contact theteam@magneticflyscreen.co.uk before returning goods. Nothing in these terms limits statutory rights for goods that are faulty, not as described or otherwise do not conform to the contract. Safe use Read and follow the instructions supplied with the product. Keep packaging, loose components and installation tools away from children and pets. Inspect the screen and fittings before use and stop using a damaged product. These products are insect screens; they are not security barriers, fall-prevention devices or substitutes for child, pet or pool-safety controls. Liability We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or mandatory consumer rights. Subject to those protections, neither party is responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed. Business customers may have different rights from consumers. See also our Limited Liability Indemnity . Complaints and disputes Contact theteam@magneticflyscreen.co.uk with your order number and a clear description of the issue so we can investigate. We will consider each complaint on its facts. If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, UK consumers may use any applicable consumer alternative dispute resolution service or bring a claim in a court with jurisdiction. These terms do not prevent a consumer from using any mandatory remedy or court available under applicable law. See our complaints handling policy . Governing law These terms are governed by the law applicable to the contract. A choice of law does not deprive a consumer of mandatory protections in the country where they live. Changes We may update these terms for future orders. The terms in force when an accepted order was placed continue to govern that order, unless the parties agree otherwise or the law requires a change.",
